St. Paul's Church

St Paul's Churchstained glass window

Grade I listed church in Birmingham's only remaining 18th century square, built in 1779, with associations with Matthew Boulton and James Watt. The East Window is a painted account of the conversion of St. Paul copied by Francis Eginton from Benjamin West's original. Also new (2000 AD) a stained glass window with design based on the local jewellery trade.

  • 11-2 pm Monday to Friday.
  • Sundays before the service from 9.30 am.
  • At other times by arrangement.

    Excellent acoustic for music.

    Church as whole, and separate spaces available for hire, for concerts (the acoustic for music is outstanding), heritage, and community activities.

    Sunday at 10.30 am Holy Communion;

    Baptisms, weddings, and funeral by arrangement.
